WELCOME TO

The Good Shepherd

Woof! Woof! We’re so glad you stopped by. We can’t wait to meet and spoil your pup!

The Good Shepherd

We know that your pet is important to you, which means they are important to us! We work hard to ensure that our guests receive the care and attention they deserve.

There are so many reasons to choose The Good Shepherd! We are not your typical dog boarding facility. One day we hope to open a fun-filled facility to house all your pups, but in the meantime, our services are currently located in our home.

Our home is intended to allow your pup to play for a day or stay for a while. Our goal is to ensure the safety, security, and happiness of each dog visiting us.

Customers and their pets are considered family. Your pup will enjoy five-star accommodations when you send them for daycare or boarding. We also offer dog walking and drop-in visits if your pup prefers to stay in the comfort of their own home.

All pups sleep in their own spacious kennel in a climate controlled area.

All we require is their food, we have plenty of everything else! Of course, you can pack whatever you think would help your pup feel more at home.
All pups must:
  1. Be current on Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, Bordetella, and any other required vaccinations.
  2. Be at least 4 months of age.
  3. Be spayed or neutered if 6 months of age or older.
  4. Be in general good health and free of ticks and fleas.
  5. Be non-aggressive towards other dogs and people.
  6. Not be protective of toys.

If your pup doesn’t get along well with others or is anxious this may not be the best environment for them, we have an open play area so that all our guests can have freedom to roam & play with whoever they wish. Due to the open environment, we don’t have the ability to keep those that don’t play well with others separated.

What Pup Parents Are Saying

Ultra reliable, friendly, good with the dogs. I wish we could have found them sooner! They don’t charge an arm and a leg either!

Recommend 100%! I left my Chihuahua for 2 weeks. I was a little nervous because I had never left her with anyone before but as soon as I arrived to drop her off I was assured my little girl would be in good hands! Received many photo updates during my trip and they are very dependable! I will definitely be using again soon! 5 stars!
